Answer for the business as it operates today. Choose the closest level you can support with evidence; select “Not sure” when you need to verify. You’ll receive a Future-Ready Business Readiness Report with an overall score, six area scores, priority gaps, potential opportunities and a suggested 30 / 60 / 90-day plan.
Your answers are scored in this browser tab. Submit your contact details and assessment summary to E. Michelle Inc. to view your report. Optional context should contain no confidential or sensitive information.
Start with foundational gaps, then your lowest-scoring areas. If your answers indicate strong foundations, use the checks below to validate that strength.
Adapt the timing to your team’s capacity. Complete the foundation checks before moving into a live pilot.
This is E. Michelle Inc.’s original self-assessment rubric, version 1.0. It is a directional planning tool based on your answers, not an independent audit, certification or approval to deploy AI. It does not test your systems or verify evidence.
Each of the 24 questions scores 0–4 with equal weight. “Not sure” scores 0 as an unverified foundation and is counted separately. Each area is its total divided by 16; overall readiness is the total divided by 96. Displayed percentages are rounded; readiness bands use the unrounded score.
0–24: Establish foundations. 25–49: Build consistency. 50–74: Prepare a focused pilot. 75–100: Potential for a controlled pilot. A score of 75 or more still requires at least 50 in every area, fewer than six unknown answers, and at least level 2 in information access, account security, human review and accountable ownership. A gap in any of these changes the recommended starting point.
Oversight questions consider themes addressed in the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. The scoring rubric is not a NIST assessment or validation.
Request an advisor-led assessment to review your workflows, source information, systems and stakeholder priorities. Copy your summary and paste it into the service inquiry so our team has your starting point. Opening the inquiry does not send your report.
